Four arrested following fight in South Plymouth

Four men are under arrest following a fight at a Clifford Road home, Monday night.

According to Captain John Rogers, police were first called to the home at around 8:40 p.m. by a mother  who was allegedly concerned a group of men were coming to fight her son. After speaking with her, officers left, but were called back at about 10 p.m. after three men arrived to do what the mother reportedly feared.

Police and the parents managed to break up the fight, Rogers said. Three men had shown up to fight. No one needed medical attention, he added.

Police arrested all four people involved in the fight, including a 17-year-old who lived at the home. James O’Brien, 18, of Scarlet Drive was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (shod foot), assault and battery, disturbing the peace, and affray. Mathew Concannon,21, of Ellisville Drive was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (shod foot), assault and battery, disturbing the peace, and affray. A Plymouth man, 17,  was charged with assault and battery, disturbing the peace, and affray. Another Plymouth man, 17,  was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (broomstick).
