Former Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani, who fled the country when the Taliban came to power, is reportedly returning.
Sources said that Ashraf Ghani may return to Afghanistan and join the new Taliban government. The Taliban entered Kabul on August 15 and occupied the country.
The then President Ashraf Ghani left the country. His plane was not allowed to land in Tajikistan and he eventually reached the United Arab Emirates. He and his family are currently in the United Arab Emirates.
He said that instead of supporting the people in trouble, they have fled the country.
