PSHS Senior Erin Bernard receives vo-tech honor

Erin Bernard, a senior at Plymouth South High School, received the Outstanding Vocational Technical Student of the year award from the  Massachusetts Association of Vocational Administrators and the Massachusetts Vocational Association.
The award recognizes exceptional students selected by their local school.

Erin will be graduating with a certificate in culinary arts.  She has pushed herself academically and enrolled in Advanced Placement and Honors courses and has been a part of the National Honor Society since her junior year.  She has earned a 3.91 GPA and is in the top 13 percent of her class.  Throughout the past four years, Erin has participated in basketball, softball, and field hockey, and she was selected to be captain of the field hockey team in her senior year.
She plans to attend Johnson and Wales University and will further her studies in baking and pastries.
