Hop over to the Simes House in Manomet to meet the Easter bunny during the foundation’s annual Easter Egg Hunt. The hunt is tentatively planned for Saturday March 28 at 2pm.
The Easter bunny’s egg hunt will be in addition to other free activities such as the bunny hop, an egg roll, egg bocce and an egg-and-spoon race. Tickets will be sold for a jelly bean contest, Easter basket raffles, face tattoos, balloons, bubble-making and bunny ears. The event is planned for children age 8 and under. Children should bring their own basket for the egg hunt. Costumes, bonnets and bunny ears are encouraged for an Easter parade.
Simes House is located at 29 Point Road in Manomet, across from Manomet Plaza. Parking is available in the Plaza parking lot. Rain date is Sunday March 29 at 2 p.m.
The hunt is conditional on the snow having melted to expose the lawn. Updates about whether the hunt is on or off will be posted on the foundation’s website, simeshousefoundation.org, and on its Facebook page.
