There are already those who have set a date for Apple’s expected keynote in the spring. And it’s none other than Mark Gurman, who is predicting an Apple event on March 8. A news that stands out from the others in a supposed period of calm in the world of Apple.

Lots of movement before the keynote

Before getting to the heart of the matter, it is mandatory to talk about the confirmation of the second season of Fundación. You didn’t have to be a mentalist to know that the most ambitious series on Apple TV+ was going to have a second round to prove its worth. We’ll see what that translates to, but the roster of confirmed characters is already looking promising.

Last week we launched an exclusive to Applesfera on recruiting wireless network engineers in Madrid. Apple seems very interested in this area, with offers that could point to an R&D center in the capital, the first in our country. There’s also a site to explain how Apple is going to charge the Netherlands a 27% commission on apps that don’t go through its IAP system. One more chapter in this mess.

And finally we begin to see what is expected for the March 8 event, yet to be confirmed. Gurman again points to an entry-level MacBook Pro M2, from which Apple would cut ProMotion, mini-LED and Touch Bar to achieve a more affordable price. An iPad Air and the iPhone SE 3 would complete the news.

In this new season, Las Charlas de Applesfera is broadcast live on Twitch every Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. peninsular Spanish time.
