A lock box and several silver coins were allegedly stolen on April 5 from the home of a Priscilla Beach man who had recently died.
According to Lieutenant Dana Flynn, the deceased’s daughter had come to his house on Cochituate Road to pick up some clothes for his funeral service when she noticed the items missing. She reported the theft on Saturday, Flynn said.
There was no sign of forced entry, Flynn said. He also said several neighbors had keys to the house so they could check in on the 77-year-old man.
