A Falmouth man is under arrest for allegedly stabbing a Halifax man at a home in Manomet late Friday night.
According to Captain John Rogers, police were called to a disturbance on Rocky Hill Road just before midnight. When they arrived, they learned that Thomas Iliffe, 42, had allegedly stabbed the 19-year-old Halifax man in the lower back. He also reportedly fought with a second man.
The two victims, Roger said, reportedly were trying to leave the gathering with Iliffe’s 16-year-old stepdaughter, which Iliffe did not agree with.
The stabbing victim was treated at Beth Israel-Deaconess Plymouth. Iliffe’s wife also allegedly attacked the victim, Rogers said. She will be charged at a later date.
Ilife was charted with assault and battery, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Bail was set at $1,000.
