Signify continues to expand the catalog of connected home lighting devices under the Philips Hue brand, confirming the arrival of two new outdoor lights for this month of February and new features for its mobile control app.
First, they announced the launch of a new bollard for terraces and gardens under the name of Philips Hue Calla, which arrives on this occasion with a stainless steel exterior finish to improve its resistance to weathering.
It is designed to illuminate paths or different areas of the garden and incorporates a system of LED diodes with white and colored light that we can adjust to our liking.
With just over 25 centimeters in height, the bollard can be easily placed in the garden, on the ground and practically on any surface, since it uses low voltage technology, and the user must connect it to the installation existing electrical with the extension cable included. in the package.
Secondly, they confirmed the arrival in Spain of the new Philips Hue Inara wall light announced a few months ago for other markets. This is a lantern with a filament bulb and a clear vintage style that includes all the smart functions of Philips Hue but retains a traditional touch.
The so-called Edison bulb has its “electric” filament visible through the bulb and that in turn through the lantern glass that covers its sides, leaving the roof and base closed with a black metal finish.
Both Philips Hue smart outdoor lighting models include all the features of the Philips Hue system and are designed to withstand the impact of sunlight and rain. The lights are dimmable and can be controlled via the Philips Hue app, remote control or by voice using Alexa, Siri or Google Assistant.
New functions in the control app
Signify also highlighted that throughout the first quarter of 2022, new effects will be added to the Philips Hue control app to enhance the ambiance offered by its products.
The first of these effects to arrive are Candle and Fireplace, which mimic the glow of natural candlelight or a fireplace for a more customizable experience with your lamps. The effects can be used with the Philips Hue Play Gradient light strip, the Gradient light tube or the Gradient Signe table or floor lamp.
According to the brand, compared to previous generations of its LED lights, the new Candle and Fireplace effects use new and improved hardware capabilities and work on all Philips Hue lights that support Zigbee and Bluetooth.

The Philips Hue Inara Filament Wall lantern in black will be available from February 8 at a price of 99.99 euros, while the Philips Hue Calla Bollard in stainless steel will also arrive from February 8 at a price of 139.99 euros.
