A humanitarian mission from Brazil is going to Port-au-Prince, capital of Haiti, this Sunday (22). The Caribbean country was hit by a magnitude 7.2 earthquake on August 14 and then a tropical cyclone on August 17. About 2.1 people died and nearly 10,000 were injured.
According to information provided by Agência Brasil, Brazilian specialists and experts in search and rescue in collapsed urban structures will travel to Haiti. Brazil will also send kits containing emergency drugs and pharmaceutical inputs.
