The British singer and musician continues his successful journey. According to GfK Entertainment, he landed the biggest hit of the summer – a real catchy track.
Baden-Baden (AP) – The dance-pop song “Bad Habits” by British superstar Ed Sheeran (30) has been named German hit of the summer of 2021. Market research firm GfK Entertainment announced Thursday.
“No song has been more successful in this country over the past few weeks than the catchy and energetic tune that has topped the official German charts four times so far,” he said. The song was also at the top of the charts in Australia, Great Britain, Canada, Austria and other countries.
“Bad Habits” (in German, eg: Bad Habits) brings “this year’s changing summer to exactly the point,” according to GfK Entertainment. At a time “when many themselves are questioning their habits – or perhaps wanting to consciously relive them – the song seems to be right.” Last year Jawsh 685 and Jason Derulo hit the summer hit with “Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat)”.
