Following reports that production difficulties for the Apple Watch Series 7 had encountered difficulties, DigiTimes now reports that these have been fixed and the production rate has returned to normal. The publication also expects us to see the new 14in and 16in MacBook Pros this fall.

Smooth navigation for Apple Watch and MacBook Pros follow

According to sources consulted by the outlet, production of the Apple Watch Series 7 has returned to pick up the pace and continues with its goal of being ready for launch in late September. A launch that will fulfill what we have traditionally seen since the launch of the Apple Watch Series 2 in 2016.

Leaving aside manufacturing delays, mostly attributed to the redesign of these Apple Watches, the supply chain seems poised for a watch that, according to the latest rumors, could get a lot more attention than its successors. Changes in the design, a new screen, a larger size and a new processor will be the main claims of this new generation.

Along with this information, DigiTimes also released data on the supply chain responsible for manufacturing the 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros. In this regard, the media reports that the shortage of components will cause the launch in October or November of this year.

This would mean that the launch schedule will be very similar to what we saw in the fall of 2020, where various events spread over different months brought the different products to the world. For now, we are awaiting the invitation to the first of these events which, to our knowledge, will be held on September 14.
