Today is Safe Internet Day 2022 and Apple is actively participating in its celebration in Europe. Focused on creating a safe environment for children while they explore, learn and communicate, the Cupertino company focuses on how to use and benefit from its products. Throughout today and this week, Apple will be rolling out a series of sessions, tools and tips for parents and teachers.
A safer internet for children
With the internet within reach of any device, many parents can feel overwhelmed when it comes to controlling and protecting their children. For this reason, the company has prepared a series of Today at Apple sessions in its physical stores across Europe, designed for parents. Looking at the Apple Store in Puerta del Sol in Madrid (remember that the Apple Store in Sol was reopened in 2019), this week we have two one-hour sessions. According to the explanation of this session:
Protect your children’s personal data. Learn how to manage content and take care of your privacy with the latest iPhone and iPad features. You’ll learn in Family & Usage Time, how to set usage limits for specific apps, and more.
Apple points to functions such as the management of the privacy of its devices, parental control or time of use to help parents better manage this crucial aspect of our daily lives. We can do without our device, since in each session they will be provided to be able to follow it correctly.
If you want to sign up for one of these sessions, it’s a good idea to check out the ones available at your nearest Apple Store. Not every day and capacity is limited. In fact, a session has already ended in the Apple Store in Passeig de Gràcia.
