This is the latest representative of the manufacturer’s 9 line which bears the name OLED + 936, a direct successor to the previous model OLED + 935 which incorporates all the latest features of the brand, including the latest generation P5 processor.

As for the differences with the model from the previous year, the main one is that the HDMI 2.1 ports are capable of operating at 120 Hz with 4K resolution, are compatible with new generation consoles and also come with eARC, VRR, FreeSync and ALLM.

Android TV10 was chosen as the operating system, with direct access to Amazon Prime Video, HBO, Disney + and Netflix, compatible with Google Assistant and Chromecast and with playback of videos compressed with the AV1 codec.

The new Philips OLED + 936 television is already appearing on the manufacturer’s website and will go on sale on August 31 for a price yet to be determined.
